As of the end of 2011, Facebook.com announced has changed it's security platform 13 times this year. Which means its had to update its platform 21 times since January 1st, 2010! Seven of these were forced by the United States Congress.""

That means you have needed to update your's and your childrens security settings EVERY single time to keep your information safe!"

FUTURE SHOP SETS A NEW RECORD...

We just finished a wonderful month at Future Shop, Courtenay giving away FREE ID Kits. GM Chris Jones and Street Smart Kidz Director Steven Baird are proud to announce they have set a new record for FREE ID Kit give aways. The old record was 14,221 and the new record is 14,555! Special thanks to Future Shop, Canada. Chris Jones and the outstanding staff at Future Shop, Courtenay.

Have we warned our kids about everything? Have we given them every tool available, so they can stay safe and be aware of dangerous situations?

We can help.

You will find that the information on our site is written for children and adults in easy to understand terms. Although the information may appear simplistic in nature the message itself is very important and vital to the protection of your children.

PREVENT Internet Luring

Parents need to get educated on at least the safety part of the internet if they want to know what their kids are up to. Keeping an eye on your kids in cyberspace is like keeping an eye on your kids at the playground. You would keep a really close eye on them when anyone other than another kid interacts with your child. Especially a grown up that showed up to the playground alone without kids.

The Rock & Roll Art Show is now showing at The JetFM/23 radio station office.

The station is quoted as saying they "would like more community involvement in our individual Arts, music, theatre and artists".

The show starts with Cara Baird's Rock & Roll Art Show from now until June 30, 2012, with Shirley Dickie's work to follow on July 1st, 2012.
