Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers is a
partnership of the public, the police, and the media which provides
the Sudbury community with a proactive program for people to
anonymously assist in the solving of crime and contributing to an
improved quality of life in our community.
The
Rotary Club of Cumberland (District 5020) was chartered on
3 June 2005 with 20 members and has grown to 30. We are one of
four Rotary clubs in the Comox Valley on beautiful Vancouver Island.
The Cumberland Rotary is one of the
founding supporters of Street Smart Kidz Program - they have donated
funding for booklets when we were passing them out on the streets -
long before the development of the Street Smart Kidz website.
Without their initial and continuing
support our program would not be available for families throughout
Canada. We are very grateful for all of their contributions.

The Kinsmen Club of Port Alberni
has been very active in the community, helping tidal
wave victims in 1965 and building the community Health Center in
Alberni.
More recently building park playgrounds,
raising Canadian flags around our community,helping Bread of Life
and literacy in the valley.

have failed so many of the innocents ,our children. We
no longer will let their memory, or the memory of their
suffering pass into a distance sunset forgotten in time,
as a way to comfort ourselves and overlook or get past
our inaction. Their pain and loss, in most cases is due
to our inaction . No, we will remind the public
constantly, that this threat still exist, that it is
real and it is still out there! It is for those children
whom have been taken, abused, neglected, and murdered
that we will make this our cry! "Not One In Vain, Not
One Forgotten, Not Ever!"
